THE HEALING PRAYER
O Heavenly Father, who art wise and understanding and full of pity and compassion, grant that our thoughts and prayers of healing may be used to draw all those named below into the light of thy divine love, so that they may receive the ministrations of those who work in thy service, to alleviate pain, to heal the afflicted in mind and body, and to ease the passing of those who are beyond our aid.
May they be aware of thy helpers, comforted and assured, giving them patience and a spirit of endurance in the knowledge of thy everlasting love.
Amen.
